2026 AAU PLAYER AGE DEFINITIONS

18 and Under (Senior) – Players born on or after July 1, 2007 OR born on or after July 1, 2006 AND are a student
-
17 and Under (Junior) – Players born on or after July 1, 2008, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 and are in the 11th grade during the current academic year
-
16 and Under (Sophomore) – Players born on or after July 1, 2009 (Cannot turn 17 before July 1, 2026)
-
15 and Under (Freshmen) – Players born on or after July 1, 2010 (Cannot turn 16 before July 1, 2026)
-
14 and Under (8th Grade) – Players born on or after July 1, 2011 (Cannot turn 15 before July 1, 2026)

13 and Under (7th Grade) – Players born on or after July 1, 2012 (Cannot turn 14 before July 1, 2026)
